Activities <Snow play>
Asahidake ski area <Mid December to Early May>
It is dynamic course running through coniferous forest and called holly place of ski for skier and snowboarder as you can experience "Back country" and "Powder"in this spacious snow field. This ski area has the longest ski season in Japan thanks to placed on highest altitude in Hokkaido.
We are sorry, but there is no ski / snowboard rental.

Trekking with snow shoe (Mid of Nov. to mid of May)
Snow shoe is "Western Kanjiki" footwear for walking over snow. Walking over white snow fields with foot print is unique winter experience. You can enjoy snow mountain with hearing little birds twittering and viewing a stunning mountain scenery. Enjoy clear snow mountain.

-Sugatami-no Ike(pond) & Crater course (Physical level: ★★★☆☆): Use ropeway to get Sugatami-no Ike and crater
-Wabsai wet bong course (Physical level:★★★☆☆※Available for kids and elder):Walk through the forest of Yezo spruce and Russian rock birch to Wasabi wet bong.
-Observatory deck & Lava plateau (Physical level:★★★☆☆): Each course approx. 2.5hours. Viewing Asahidake, Kaundake and Tokachi dake from observatory deck on a sunny day.

※Ski hire is available only for participator of this course. Please inform us with your shoe size if you are interested in hiring.

Snowmobile & Banana board experience (Jan. to March))
100% satisfaction experience running through white snow field while viewing Asahidake, one of Taisetsuzan mountains in Hokkaido!! Local snow mobile expert will instruct you so even beginners can join us!

Activity (All through the year)
Craft and pottery experience
"Mokuzougan craft"making patterns of wood and embedding, "Pepan weave"originally coming from the region name, using weaving machine with sheep's wool to make Pepan texture, and "Pottery-making " are available as experience activity. Especially "Mokuzogan" is barely experienced other than Hokkaido.

Golf <March to November>
This golf course is 40mins drive from hotel and has 18 courses nestled in beautiful nature with panoramic view of peaks of Tokachidake. Enjoy exhilarating course and luxury club life.

Park Golf <April to November>
This park golf course located in Higashikagura forest park is easy to access, 40mins and 15mins drive from hotel and Asahikawa airport respectively. There are 54 courses including 9 for kids so all family can enjoy.

Nature observation walk in early morning <May to September>
Early in the morning is the most active time for birds in nature of Asahidake. You can observe a several kinds of wild birds such as Great spotted woodpecker, Japanese tit, Grey-headed woodpecker and Eurasian wren. Enjoy strolling in the forest surrounded by Yezo spruce.

Flower-viewing guide at surrounding area of “Full-length mirror” pond <June 20th to October>
This is full-length mirror pond made on the remains of cater. You can enjoy strolling and viewing of blooming Alpine plants such as yellow-flowered rhododendron and Aleutian avens. Experiencing a hiking while observing a fumarole having white fumes.

Asahidake mountain-climbing guide <June 20th to October>
This is a climbing course of the highest summit in Hokkaido, Asahidake, for beginners. You will be amazed by the view from the summit, there is Antaromadake at northside and Tokachidake at south side.

Guide for traversal of Asahidake and Kurodake (June to Oct.)
This is intermediate course of climbing up to Asahidake, Mamiya dake, Hokuchindake, Kurodake and down to Souun gorge. You can view almost all Daisetsu zan including Asahidake.
